Slayer Tycoon Guides

Session checklists for a tycoon that resets — from first hatchet to Slayer Mark.

Last updated:

Slayer Tycoon is easy to join and easy to waste. You spawn, grab a hatchet, and twenty minutes later you still cannot afford a Sensei because you decorated the base, died in the mines, or waited for a code that does not exist. This hub is the map of every walkthrough on the wiki. Start with getting started if you have never finished a full kit in one sitting.

The game launched on 8 March 2021 and is still a two-player combat tycoon. Coldjason’s description is blunt: it is not designed to save. v2.0 made accessories persistent and added Solo Player Style, but your cash, breathing, and buttons still vanish on leave. Guides here assume you are rebuilding, not theory-crafting a forever base.

First hour

  1. Getting started — claim order, Slayer vs Demon, first purchases.
  2. Controls — PC, Xbox, and mobile inputs, including the Q sprint change in v2.0.
  3. How to make money — plate upgrades, wood at $650, ore at about $1,900, and when to stop chopping.

Read those three before you open the Robux shop. Fire God and Moon Art are strong, but they do not help a broke first session.

High-intent unlocks

Combat and end-of-session goals

  • Bosses — train spawns, weakest-to-strongest order, Strong Souls.
  • Awakening — Master at Slayer HQ, Muzan in the Infinity Castle, 250 R$ Awaken pass.
  • PvP — roll discipline, i-frames, and why cheap Insect still wins fights.
  • Map — biomes, NPCs, Infinity Castle, Tamayo’s mansion.
  • Accessories — the only loadout that survives a rejoin.

Pair every combat guide with a ranking: breathing styles, demon arts, and fighting styles. The tier list hub explains how we score session value, not just raw damage.

Faction pages

If you are arguing with your duo about who should be the demon, read Slayer vs Demon and the NPC list. Sensei locations and trainer costs live there so the guides stay focused on what to do, not who sells it.

How these guides are written

Prices move. Fandom, namu, and in-game Sensei prompts disagree on Flame ($45k vs $81k) and a few arts. When sources conflict, the page says so instead of picking a fake exact number. Always keep one extra wood and one extra ore in the bag so a $10k surprise does not strand you.

Videos on individual guides are real uploads of this place ID — one per page, placed mid-article. If two YouTubers covered the same boss, we kept the clearer one.

  • Codes — still empty; do not stall a session for them
  • Updates — v2.0 systems these guides assume
  • Scripts — optional automations, with Adonis kick warnings
  • Tools — cost tables you can screenshot before you join
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which Slayer Tycoon guide should a new player open first?

The getting started guide, then money before any tier list.

Do I need every guide in one session?

No. First session: start + money + one cheap kit. Bosses and awakening wait until you can survive the train.

Are prices in the guides exact?

They are the best-reported figures. Updates shift them; carry extra materials and check the Sensei prompt in-game.

Where is the v2.0 stuff?

Accessories, Solo Style, Slayer HQ, and awakened katanas are split across accessories, awakening, and the v2.0 patch page.
