Slayer Tycoon Blood Demon Arts Tier List
Demon kits ranked for bosses, PvP, and a tycoon that will not save.
Blood Demon Arts are the Demon faction’s answer to nichirin. Unlock the Art Sensei in the tycoon for $5,000, then pay cash plus one wood and one ore. Slayers cannot buy these. If you picked the wrong faction, read Slayer vs Demon before you grind $70k for a shop that will not talk to you.
This ranking uses the same session-value rules as the tier list hub. Namu has the most complete cash table; English pages confirm Shockwave at $70k and Moon at $100k + pass. Other numbers below follow namu unless noted.
S tier
Shockwave Art (Akaza) — $70,000. Compass knockback on equip, Destroy Type i-frames, martial M1s. Still the default PvE recommendation and a PvP peel. v2.0 revamped it and added Destructive / Destruction via awakening. If you buy one expensive art this session, buy this.
Moon Art (Kokushibo) — 700 R$ + about $100,000. Flesh-katana, crescent projectiles, the demon mirror of Fire God. S if you paid. Not a free-to-play plan. Full unlock: Moon Art guide.
A tier
Sound-adjacent? No — stay in arts. For Slayer invuln, see breathing.
Obi Art (Daki) — about $60,000. Wide sash pressure. The Obi Demon fight uses this kit; owning it helps you understand the boss.
Demon Sickle (Gyutaro) — about $53,000. Paired thematically with Obi. Strong melee, less peel than Shockwave.
String Art (Rui) — about $40,000. v2.0 Chopping Wheel revamp. Great at punishing sprinters. A-tier control.
Dark Thunder (Kaigaku) — about $55,000. v2.0 Thunder Spirit skill. Do not confuse with Thunder Breathing.
Biwa Art (Nakime) — about $38,000. Castle access without the 10 R$ pass, plus an awaken (Master). Utility A, damage A-.
B tier
Bursting Blood (Nezuko) — about $50,000. Fine, usually skipped because Shockwave is only $20k more when you are already in this band.
Vector Arrow (Yahaba) — about $30,000. Ranged, honest B for kiting bosses with udon.
Temari (Susamaru) — about $25,000. Ball kit, fun, mid.
Tsuzumi Drums (Kyogai) — about $23,000. Teleport-ish drum tricks. B for movement brains.
Dream (Enmu) — about $22,000 and Blood Bewitchment (Tamayo) — about $22,500. Cheap and playable. Tamayo fans will also want the forest Demon Doctor House.
C tier — openers
Rooting Gun (Genya) — about $15,000. Best first art. v2.0 Double Tap shoots instantly. You will outgrow it; you will not regret it as the first Sensei purchase.
Swamp — $20k–$30k (conflict). Use as a filler if it is on sale in your build.
Blindfold / Yushiro lines — $7k–$12k. Oldest cheap arts. Fine for a five-minute test, then sell reagents into Rooting Gun.
Situational
Vase / Gyokko — added with the Vase Demon. Community calls the vase teleport “broken” for resets; also fragile because any hit can break the vase. Rank: A at cheese, B in a clean duel.
Hantengu / Douma — namu lists cash (60k / 85k) with weak English page mapping. If your Sensei shows them, they are real; we will not invent movesets.
Suggested buy lines
- Broke Demon: Rooting Gun → String or Vector → Shockwave.
- Boss farmer: Shockwave → Destructive awaken when a soul drops.
- Robux Demon: Moon whenever cash allows; castle teleport is still worth 10 R$ if you lack Biwa.
Fighting styles remain available at the waterfall for either faction. A Demon with Shockwave plus Soaring is greedier than two arts. See fighting styles.
