Slayer Tycoon PvP Guide
Win fights in a session tycoon where death drops your farm.
PvP in Slayer Tycoon is not an arena playlist. It is other people on the same 12-player map who can delete your ore. Some of them are duelists. Most of them are bored Fire God users. This page is how you survive the second group and beat the first. Rankings for kits live on the tier list; this is the fight logic.
If you still cannot roll on purpose, stop here and open controls. Standing Q is the i-frame. Moving Q is a sprint that will kindly deliver you into a Shockwave barrage.
What you are actually fighting for
Death keeps the hatchet and pickaxe. Death does not keep the wood, ore, and bags in your backpack. That is the whole PvP economy. A “fair 1v1” next to the miner is still a robbery if you are carrying. Sell first, duel second. The money guide is a PvP guide in disguise.
Wisteria walls on a Slayer pad will kill outsiders who walk in. Use them as a reset, not as a taunt. Teleport skills and some arts bypass the wall — do not AFK inside counting on the flowers.
Kit roles in PvP
Peel / i-frame
- Mist Breathing — Silent Fog (Y) is the only widely documented full invulnerability-to-everything. 25s cooldown. Use it to leave, not to greed M1s.
- Sound Breathing — invuln windows plus knockback; rating videos treat it as a boss kit that also bullies close-range players.
- Shockwave Art — Destroy Type i-frames, compass knockback on equip. Best “I just want people off me” demon kit. Details: demon arts.
Pressure
- Thunder — speed, dash forms, still a respectable mid-price pick.
- Love — winding ranged slashes, $75k, gymnastic kit that wins if you can aim.
- Fire God — expensive, Robux, still the screenshot weapon. You beat it by not standing in the big circles, not by mirroring the pass.
Budget
- Insect — cheapest real breathing. v2.0 zigzag finisher. You will lose to a competent Moon Art; you will not lose to a hatchet.
- Rooting Gun — cheap demon opener, Double Tap is instant after the revamp.
- Beast — fine PvE, mediocre PvP. Boar Head accessory buffs it 10% if you found one.
Community 2022 lists also loved Revenger and Sorcerer styles as S-tier unarmed. Treat those as dated but not worthless; fighting styles notes the v2.0 Solo kit for people without a duo.
Neutral game
- Never sprint as your first movement in a fight. Show the roll.
- M1 between skills. Most strings are 5 damage a hit. Players who only press E lose to cooldown tracking.
- Hold one food. Udon and bento are HP bars. A 20-udon Akaza kite is a boss tactic that also works on players who cannot gap-close.
- If they have Moon Art or Fire God and you have Insect, you are allowed to leave. The session is the ranked ladder; your ore is the LP.
- Do not “fair fight” on the money plate. That is their win condition.
Griefing vs dueling
Griefers camp the mineshaft and the lumberjack. Counterplay is boring: sell more often, hop if two pass kits live on your pad, and do not type. Duels happen in the open field near the waterfall. If someone emotes a challenge with an empty backpack, you can take it. If their friend is behind you with String Art, you already lost.
Scripts that auto-kill or expand hitboxes exist. They also trip Adonis. Using them in PvP is how you get kicked mid-combo. The scripts hub is documentation, not a recommendation for fighting.
After v2.0
Accessories with combat buffs change matchups more than a new M1 animation. A UR that saves between sessions is worth more than a one-session Flame buy. Check accessories before you call a kit “washed.” Color-coded CDs also mean you can read an opponent’s bars — if their Y is down, Mist is mortal.
For who you should even be fighting beside, see factions. A Slayer/Demon duo that shares a pad should peel for each other instead of 1v1ing the same raider twice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best PvP kit in Slayer Tycoon?
Mist, Sound, Shockwave, and Fire God all win different fights. Budget players should start with Insect. See the tier list.
How do I stop dying to griefers?
Sell often, roll instead of sprint, and use wisteria or a server hop. Your ore is the prize, not the 1v1.
Does PvP gear save?
Katanas and arts do not. Accessory buffs from v2.0 do. Spin those after you can already fight.
