Slayer Tycoon Boss Guide

Infinite Train demons, drops, and the kits that actually kill them.

Boss Guide

Bosses are why Slayer Tycoon is not a pure dropper. The Infinite Train dumps a named demon onto the map, chat announces it, and the server either farms bags or wipes. You need those bags for cash and Strong Souls for awakening. This page is the roster, the published power order, and a practical kill plan.

Spawn timing is messy across sources. The English fandom says 20–30 minutes after the last boss dies. Namu says the train runs about every 15 minutes. Play like the shorter timer: when chat mentions the train, move. Sitting in the tycoon “waiting for 30 minutes” is how you miss Biwa.

Roster

Current named bosses on the English wiki:

  • Biwa Demon (Nakime) — weakest in the published ranking
  • Sickle Demon (Gyutaro) — often paired with Obi
  • Obi Demon (Daki)
  • String / Spider Demon (Rui)
  • Shockwave Demon (Akaza) — strongest in that list, revamped in v2.0
  • Vase Demon (Gyokko) — added with v2.0
  • Hantengu path — Fear into Amusement, Joy, Anger, Sorrow (emotion forms)

Fandom’s weakest → strongest line is: Biwa → Sickle → Obi → Spider/String → Shockwave. Vase and Hantengu are not slotted in that sentence; treat Vase as a mid-to-high threat because Gyokko’s kit includes a vase teleport.

Drops

All bosses can drop big money bags, Nichirin ore, and a Strong Soul. Approximate bag/ore counts from fandom:

GroupBags / ore (reported)
Shockwave, Biwa, String~6
Obi, Sickle~3
Amusement, Joy, Anger, Sorrow~2

Souls are the real reason to show up if you already own a kit. Awakening a Blood Demon Art or a Slayer Mark katana consumes a soul plus the Awaken Demon Arts / Slayer Mark gamepass (250 R$). Do not eat a soul on a kit you will not use this session — the tycoon still resets, but some awaken states are tied to the pass and NPC, not the pad.

How to beat them (practical, not anime canon)

Biwa. Lowest on the English ranking. Bring any ranged form so you are not stuck in melee. If you only have a hatchet, loot after other players; do not donate the soul to the floor.

Sickle + Obi. They can spawn together. Gyutaro uses the full Demon Sickle kit; Daki uses Obi Art R/Y/T. Split focus: kill the one shredding your duo first. Udon kiting still works if you bought the Demon shop.

String / Rui. Web and thread moves punish sprinting in a straight line. Use the roll vs sprint distinction. String Art users on the player side have a revamped Chopping Wheel in v2.0 — the boss version still hurts if you stand in it.

Shockwave / Akaza. Copies Shockwave Art, including i-frame bursts. Community advice that aged well: stack about 20 udon, keep moving, and chip with ranged forms. Do not melee a compass knockback. If your kit is Insect or Rooting Gun, you can still contribute; you should not tank. Shockwave Art itself (about $70k) is one of the better PvE purchases for this fight — see demon arts.

Vase / Gyokko. v2.0. The player Vase art can place a vase and return to it; the boss can punish clustered teams. Break or leave the vase area instead of stacking for bags.

Hantengu forms. Smaller bag counts, still souls. They are a DPS check more than a mechanic lecture. If the server is under-geared, skip and keep chopping — money is allowed.

Kits that farm bosses

Session-value ranking, not a full tier list:

  • Shockwave Art — i-frames, compass peel, excellent PvE.
  • Sound Breathing — invulnerability windows, knockback, listed as a boss farmer in rating videos.
  • Mist Breathing — Silent Fog is full invulnerability; expensive but safe.
  • Insect — cheap, v2.0 zigzag finisher, good enough for Biwa/Obi if you do not greed.
  • Fire God — high damage, Robux. Fine if you already paid.

Fighting styles are secondary. Soaring and Sorcerer add mobility; they do not replace a soul-farming art. Full notes: fighting styles.

After the kill

Bank bags at the miner/lumberjack if you still need a kit. If you already have the Awaken pass, run Infinity Castle via Biwa Woman (10 R$ Easy Teleport or Biwa Art) and talk to Muzan, or visit The Master at Slayer HQ for a Slayer Mark. Details in awakening.

Do not stand on the corpse. The next train is the real timer, not your screenshot. For NPC locations around the drop, use the NPC page.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How often do bosses spawn in Slayer Tycoon?

Sources disagree: about 15 minutes versus 20–30 after the last kill. Watch chat for the Infinite Train.

Which boss is the strongest?

Published English order puts Shockwave Demon at the top. Vase and Hantengu are extra threats added around later updates.

What is a Strong Soul used for?

Awakening arts and Slayer Mark katanas. See the awakening guide.

Can I kill bosses with the starter hatchet?

Not reliably. Loot if the server already won, otherwise buy a cheap kit from the tier list first.
